Chad Plumley — Attorney & Founder, The Plumley Law Firm, P.C.
A Georgia attorney
through and through.

Chad Plumley is a native of Paulding County, Georgia — and has spent his career serving the families and communities he grew up in. After earning a B.A. in History with a minor in Classical Studies from the University of Florida in 1993, Chad went on to receive his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Chad graduated cum laude in 1997 and served on the Mercer Law Review for two years, where he published a comment titled Why Coercion Should be a Defense in a Section 1 Case Involving Vertical Agreements (Mercer Law Review, Vol. 47, 1997).

He was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1997 and the Georgia bar in 1998. Over his career, Chad has served as a law clerk for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit (1997–1998), as an Associate at Kinney & Kemp (1998–1999), as a sole practitioner (1999–2001), as a partner at Cowan, Plumley and Bucci, LLC (2001–2003), and as a partner at Plumley & Bucci, LLC (2003–2014) before founding The Plumley Law Firm, P.C. in 2015.

Our values
How we approach
every client matter.

These aren't talking points — they're the principles Chad built the firm around from day one.

01

Honesty above all

We tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. Our advice is always straightforward and in your best interest.

02

Transparent pricing

Legal fees should never be a surprise. We discuss costs upfront and offer flat-rate pricing wherever possible so you can plan with confidence.

03

Personal relationships

You work directly with Chad — not a paralegal or associate. We take the time to understand your situation before recommending anything.

04

Deep local knowledge

We know Georgia law, Georgia courts, and the Georgia communities we serve. That local fluency makes a real difference for our clients.
